Default 2015 LS460L AWD Shocks

So I’m having an issue the shocks are bad. I want to replace them I reached out to strut masters
and they said they do not offer a solution for this model and I’ve been looking around and I want to get some. If I install aftermarket is it gonna trigger a dash light?? Am I gonna have a light for the rest of my life? Is there a way to do it and not cause any codes or dash lights or anything?

Do not install aftermarket garbage, install OEM and move on.

Send me your VIN, I can give you part numbers and some options. Then you can shop around.

That issue is discussed here. Try searching. OEM will operate 100% as it should. Other brands will give you dash light but function. Try ordering OEM from Arab Emirates or Japan. There are a couple of companies mentioned here where members had good results with a substantial discount compared to American sources.

I tried searching and I found a lot of stuff, but nothing detailing aftermarket shocks just questions about buying air shocks or not buying a car with air shocks and earlier model years honestly.

What is stopping you from getting non air struts from a 2015 ls460l ? you would have to buy all the other associated parts springs mounts etc and leave the avs actuators connected to avoid having a warning light on but it would be cheaper for sure. Looks like the fronts bolt on to the existing strut forks you already have.

OEM Air struts can be had for $2400-$3500 all in from sources in Japan. I've covered it in a few threads.

Are they all bad? I have a 12 L AWD with 276k on original rear air shocks. 3 total have been replaced on the front.
