Default Amp help

I know a lot of people already talk about their amp failing and what not but I've been looking for some scenarios like mine but haven't ound any. So here goes.

Radio turns on and volume levels go up and down on both **** and steering wheel controls. The treble/mid/bass settings are still adjustable, the audio focus ( front, back, left, right) can still be adjusted nothing is frozen. In the trunk, amp fans both turn on power 12v is present from battery but still no audio to the speakers. Fuse is good and had been replaced just in case. I just want to make sure it's still the Amp if not something else. Thanks.

It started off originally if I went past 20 on the level it would cut out and shut off audio an now no sound.

Look up United Radio on the web. Give them a call. They are friendly and helpful and can advise you on your symptoms. It’s likely the amp needs repair. Members have had good experience with them.

+1 for United radio. I've never used them for rebuilding an amp, but, they are the authorized repair center for a ton of stuff and very responsive- they've answered questions about the Lexus amps for me before and I've used them for some impossible to find parts for a Fujitsu-ten eclipse radio.
