HI, Just purchased a 2007 LS460. Has Whereis - version 13 running on GPS ... can anyone tell me how and if I can update this or buy a new program for it (Be kind, I am 77 and having problems with all the new technology) Ian

I did a search and whereis appears to be a commercial tracking device, if its just plugged into your obd connector I would just toss it.

If you can still find them (car is old, minimal demand) check eBay for 2007 Lexus map update disc. Make sure an activation code is supplied. I believe your nav system is Gen 5. They are $20-30 USD. Make sure it’s the Aus version. As I’m USA, I don’t know the last year an update was offered but you might already have the latest or newer map than 2007 from a previous owner. If there is significant growth in your driving area, it’s worth buying. It only updates the maps.
