Rear trunk spoiler

Rear spoiler ,Anyone add a rear spoiler to the trunk lid, Looks like thers is no drilling 3M tape,Let me know if anyone has tried it, Found it on ebay

Yep...there are several styles via Ebay. I ordered mine from there. Correct, no drilling involved. Just 3M Tape.

Installed this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/142452765965, bought it from "THE SPOILER COMPANY" on ebay. You give them your color code and they paint it for you. Glued on the 3M tape and fits like a glove.

I know these trunk spoilers are just for looks. But can anyone explain how a rear spoiler actually works, on a genuine race car? I understand the high-mounted reverse-wing spoilers we see on Top Fuel dragsters. The body-mounted ones are a mystery to me.

The “swoop up” characteristic of a spoiler interrupts the air passing over the top of a vehicle. It causes the air to lift up against the trunk area, whereas if there were no spoiler, the air would simply pass straight over the trunk seamlessly. When a spoiler is present the interrupted air pushing against the spoiler causes down force on the vehicle, giving the car more stability when at higher speeds.
