While doing some highway driving over the weekend (only about 60 miles each way), we experienced hesitation from the drivetrain while doing speeds around 80mph. The engine was performing fine without issue, and it didn't seem to be a transmission issue as it was generally maintaining speed, but it almost seemed like it was jumping in and out of AWD. I don't have a good way to describe this issue.
I spoke with my mechanic (non-Lexus) this morning, and he didn't have any specific ideas, so I thought I would toss this out and see if it lines up for anyone. This is a 2014 LS with 140K.

Pretty much impossible to jump out of AWD, could be a torque convertor problem...maaaybe. Some of them had a vibration issue starting around 60mph that disappeared when shifted into neutral.
Have you had any tranny services done lately and did it just start?
