On page 867, make sure the “smart access system with push button start” is ON.

How about a mini review of those magna flow axle backs, maybe a sound bite ?? I was in the process of ordering them but chickened out because they are $500 more than OEM

It’s on according to Navigation System

Great addition to my Fsport gives it the right amount of rumble without scarification of comfort or class

Spoke to Dealers on the phone and they want $1100 to “reseed” both original key fobs, does anyone know the procedure? Maybe I can try it - btw I changed the battery once more with a Duracell and still no results
Also checked out all fuses from hood to under steering wheel and as well inside the trunk. All looks good - could it be the battery? I recently had it replaced 6 months ago

It does not cost $1100. Call again and ask again.
Alternatively you can just order a "3rd" new key from them and have them program it to the car for under $500, if you are convinced that the keys are the problem.

Thanks for quick response- I do not believe the keys are a problem..why would both keys give out same time? I believe that both keys are asleep..if that’s a thing. One key has always been in storage and one key has always been in use - is there a reinitialize process? Because it’s happened before with my Toyota Camry when I changed out the battery I had to unlock and lock the car with key and at ignition switch also

Techstream can do it. But Ebay purchased TS are often incomplete and may not be capable.
There are locksmiths who do this as well. Worth a couple of calls.
FWIW, the dealer may be charging $550 per key as they have to do twice the work. Brutal price though.
Using a multimeter to check coin battery voltage may be enlightening.

Is that a fully licensed version, if not, who knows. I don't know the procedure. This situation is uncommon on this forum. Look on TS website? Google indicated that it's capable.

I've used 4 different versions of the cheap techstreams available on ebay / amazon. The key section in techstream functions fine on them.

If you decided to change the computer. I can message you a seed code if needed. I have a few I'll probably never use. If you already have a key that will start the car you won't need a seed code to simply add another key.

Did you ever try putting the old battery in and see if that did anything?? doesn't make sense that putting a new battery in the fob would do this.

Why don't you try going through the registration for a new key...you said the spare didn't do anything right, can't hurt to try. I've only programmed one new key and a card key for mine but I'd be trying everything before spending any amount of money.

There is a key diagnosis in TS smart access but I've never used that function.

I just saw Miket000 already mentioned adding a key.
