Default Almighty fumble

More of a self pity post. I guess I'm just getting older.
Wanted to swap my front stab, it's kinda rotting under the bushings. Being idealist it wasn't copathetic, not aligned with my standards.
So I went to a junker and found amazing, almost new stab. Super cheap too, 30euro. Oh my was I happy.
It waited for it's time for a couple of weeks and today I decided to finally install it.
Of course, I first took off the old one.
Just to realize that those are ... different. I bought a RWD one. Went back for a refund, Friday traffic and all.
F........... How could I?? They are so different, it's so obvious, I've seen dozens of them.
S happens, no harm done, lesson learned, etc etc etc
Hate myself. TGIF ruined.

I could be wrong, but I believe in the history of automotive repairs something similar may have happened to one other person.

But I'm not saying who!

And yes, I think getting older could have something to do with it.

It's the inconvenience and time wasted that makes these situations the worst. With all the subtle differences between RWD/AWD and then between different years, packages, etc. it's bound to happen to anyone. If this was your biggest mistake in recent memory you're in pretty good shape!

You're right about one thing for sure - getting old happens and it sucks!!! Lol.
