Pre 2013? The unit needs to come out. There are multiple companies that do repairs, yours will need it. United Radio is one mentioned here often. Used is an option but it could die, repair is best bet.
If it's display then used part on ebay is like $200-400 and you can DIY screen replacement. Just google Grom audio vline install and they have a demo where they pull this screen out. It's simple
well i have changed the screen and radio and cd player and still screen problem and no sound

i took pics of check menu listed below hope sone can shed some light on this. port unplugged sound back lan monitor unit id system check
If you replaced the entire unit, then there may be a wiring issue. I've seen several threads where a wire has gotten nicked or pinched and causes unexplainable issues. Usually this occurs when something has been added to the car's electric system. Even a dash cam direct wired into the car. If a Grom system had been installed, that would be a likely suspect.

Agreed - I saw that screen commonly when the Grom crashed. It doesn’t look like there’s anything wrong with the screen as graphics display fine in some instances. Are you sure there is nothing aftermarket installed on your car?
hi no aftermarkets parts no grom ect try in another ls 600h radio and screen and worked fine its that port making the problems and even changed amp costing me alot now lol
it's possible the plug or port are bad. As you said, that's when it's a problem. Get a magnifier and carefully examine wires and pins of plug. There are kits for redoing these items. If a repair was done adjacent to the screen or along the route of the wires in the dash. Climate control system is a typical repair that could accidentally damage a wire. I've read it here in the forum. If you're not the original owner, you just don't know who's been into that dash. I've even read about previous owners removing an aftermarket item when selling the car. Leaving damage behind that may not short out right away. Obviously a difficult and time consuming process to examine all wires.
