Default PCS fault warning light

Had my windshield replaced by a company contracted by the insurance co, but they didn’t possess the equipment to calibrate the ADAS and was told book it into the dealers for this.
spent three hours at the dealer only to be told they were unable to complete the calibration due to a fault with the PCS, and now the PCS fault message was on the dash, (I had no such message on there prior to them attempting the calibration)
and I would have to bring the car back for further investigation (and no doubt big bucks when they invent faulty components!!)
Anyone have this problem before? Is there any way I can get the PCS warning message to turn off.. I’m convinced there’s no problem and they’ve screwed things up somehow.
It’s a 2013 LS 600hl.

Very complex car, no simple answer. Things break with no one being at fault. If you don't trust dealer, go to a Toyota dealer or an indy specialist. You could talk to insurance and claim this was their responsibility since the repair is incomplete and they are responsible to completion. In the USA they would be.

LKA car? Plenty of things to go wrong during glass replacement. And proper LKA cal (even with proper adas tooling) is an art. No, you're stuck with PCS fault until you fix everything.

Based on Boykie knowledge of difficulty of repairs, I suggest that you pursue insurance coverage for completion of the job at Lexus dealer. Ask the dealer if they will document to the insurance that this is necessary. It's in their interest as well.

Yes it has LKA, which is now not working, everything else is such as ACC, brake alert, etc. What I don’t understand is how the PCS warning lights are now displayed on my dash when there wasn’t any before they attempted calibration? It makes me think they’ve done something wrong. Potentially it could turn into a very costly repair, not sure my insurance company would be willing to stump up the cost, they’d probably argue there was a pre-existing fault with the car.

PCS fault msg is rich man's VSC off so to speak. Cars equipped with PCS will throw PCS fault at anything starting from headlights to brakes. To discuss this further we at least need to know what your DTCs from all systems are.
In case they did not complete LKA cal procedure you will have PCS fault and LKA inop messages (there are specific DTCs for 'camera adjustment incomplete' etc)

The dealer didn’t give me any paperwork, so I’m gonna book it in with my Indy to run a diagnostic on it so at least I’m armed with some knowledge when I go back to the dealer.

Good luck trying to win a battle with a dealer on your own. I think you're better off talking to insurance, they want to retain you as a customer. But it sounds like you've got your plan laid out, hope it turns out as you hope.

I will consider that, my only concern is they may insist I don’t drive the car til the works done as it would invalidate the insurance on safety grounds.

Ok, same company. Yea, I gathered that you're in UK.
What about glass quality? Benson? I never liked those cheapo shields...
Any chance you can force insurer to install real, original glass?

Yea? That's actually pretty good, considering it's price at dealer.
Ok, go to indy, make sure they have adequate scantool (techstream ideally) and pull errors. We'll go from there.
