LED DRL/Highbeam Success!
I'm sorry but IMO, I find headlight mods in general like this are detracting and simply a step that "cheapens" the car. Did you consider using Techstream or Toy/Lex dealer to shutoff the DRL's if the classic dim glow bothers you that badly?
I can't help but think of an all ate up 2002 Hyundai Sonata (with purple bubbly tint lol) speeding recklessly sporting the wanna-be fake HID bulbs. You know, the hooptie who has one headlight shining into the trees and the other headlight wobbling because they didn't place the retaining clip in correctly?

DRLs serve a purpose. Updating the look to make it more modern is definitely not what you're describing but you think what you want.
TBH I haven't installed them on my LS yet but I have put JDM toy adapters on 2 other cars and they work perfectly plus they've been around forever. They just dim the LEDs to 20-30% or max brightness when the DRLs are on. I think it looks good personally
I bought the ijdm r4 adapters but my car is in winter storage right now and the battery died even though I plugged in a tender so I haven't had time to install them yet. I'll report back once I install the new battery.
