Default LS 430 cranks over but no start can’t find ECU

Hi guys, first time posting on here. I’ve got an ls430 that will crank over but will not start! I’ve tried to read the codes but the link can’t be established! No communication. It seems when you turn the ignition switch on the cooling fans start and stay going. Any idea what would be causing this?

When you turn the key to the "on" position, does the check engine light illuminate while the engine is off? If not, then the ECU is either toast, or simply not getting power.

I would start checking fuses before anything else.

Have checked fuses and they all seem fine started checking relays and they seem ok also! Why would the fans be on when it’s completely cold? I’ve changed the temperature sensor and thermostat with new oem. Did not fix it! Any other ideas much appreciated

The red triangle is a fault indicator, and should have a message that is displayed along with it. For example, mine came on the other day because of the washer fluid level was low.

The light I was referring to is the run of the mill orange "check engine" light, that illuminates of a problem is detected, and also lights up when the engine is off.

A fan switch may be faulty and/or fan relay may be stuck. but that don't explain why the car wont start. Maybe the battery is not strong enough to crank the engine over normally.

Describe your symptoms. Are you using same key and tried different key and did it happen after starting fine and next time not with no work in between?

Do you have power at the fusible link both sides? If not it has to be the connection
