Check Engine Light - Camshaft Sensor
My battery was dead (probably left an interior light on) on my '06 ML with 93k. It jump started easily but the check engine and vsc light stayed on. I went to a nearby Auto Zone and their tester showed the check engine light was caused by a camshaft sensor error. After driving for about 30 minutes, shutting off and restarting the car, the check engine and vsc light went off. So, what to do? Ignore or take it to have checked out? I plan on taking it to the trusty Toyota dealer this week.
Also, timing belt was done at 45k and a new alternator was put in a few months ago.
