Default Check engine and TCS off

Had to wait about 2 weeks to get in to the lexus dealer here in Okinawa. Been having the check engine light, along w/ TSC Off light come on and off intermittently.
It was off when I got to the dealer yesterday. They plugged into computer..........and from what i could understand from the explanation, it was the RMP sensor (?). They said the 'sensor that controls the engine revolutions wasn't plugged in all the way'.
Clicked the sensor in. Light hasn't come back on yet. Is it really something that simple? i'm hoping it is. But at the same time, just waiting for the check engine light to come back on any time now.

Your car has some differences as to the warning lights. Your "check engine" and "TCS" lights coming on may be related to a defective starting battery. As they age, batteries accumulate sludge in their cells and the sludge can get high enough to intermittently short the plates.
