The black plastic cover on the B column (driver's side) of my LS430 is peeling off. I've got a piece of clear tape on it in this photo to slow down the peeling.
Has anyone every replaced this part of their car? Is it something I can order from a 3rd party?

 

Some people wrap the pieces with vinyl, but that looked like a pain to do. I ended up ordering new replacements. Be prepared, they are pricey.

 

Where did you order them? Lexus? And do you remember about how much it cost? I imagine the installation was most of the cost.

I ordered from discountpartsmonster, as they were the cheapest at the time. You could also check megazip.
I installed myself. If you remove the lower window chrome trim, it makes life much easier.
