2005 Tirepressures way off but No WARNING LIGHT
Hi all,
I have this 2005 for about 6000 miles now. I checked pressures and they were low as well as one that was like 12 lbs lower as well.
Will a reset on the underside button kickstart these wheels to check in?
My 04 had these sensors working for many years, so never had to do more than top off tires and reset under the kick panel.
Its not a MUST but very helpful to keep me honest.

There are no sensors that measure pressure.
The system detects differences in pressure by measuring the rolling radius of each wheel+tyre which is why you need to drive it 50-60 miles after pressing the reset button for it to learn the new tyre radii.
If a tyre loses pressure, it will deform which gives a smaller rolling radius and triggers the warning.
If you change tyres you should do a reset then, and I do one every time I change my tyre pressures.
Sounds to me like the previous owner didn't check the pressures and just hit the reset.
Keep checking the tyre pressures for the next couple of weeks and see if any of them change.

Never forget what I was told by a tire dealer. I have a motor coach that is way finicky about tire pressure. If it is off by ten pounds it is very noticeable.
He reminded me to get "the best tire gauge you can get your hands on and check it religiously". I did and I do.
