I have an 06 with an XM tuner connected to the ML system. I'm going to be installing the Beat Sonic kit along with a Sony XAV-7000. I'd like to retain the XM functionality and my question is this: does my existing XM tuner work with aftermarket stereos as well as the proprietary ML radio? It would be great not to have to buy another tuner and run the antenna to the trunk.

Pretty sure the Sirius/XM receiver plugs into and works with any head unit.
