Default Trim polish

So I bought some aluminum polish for my mishimoto aluminum radiator in another car, and I was looking at the lexus and Ive been kind of sad that the trim on the lower part of the car has started to look terrible. Im thinking "great thats another thing I need to replace". Tried hitting it with some mothers aluminum polish and wow! Apparently its aluminum and polishable! The winow trim and front grill are real chrome I guess, but that lower trim that goes on the doors and bumpers, and also around the back window, can all be polished really quickly and easily with a aluminum polish. Mine is all dull and faded.

Just a tip if anyone else is in the same boat.

Rubbing compound works just as well.
