Default 02 LS430 - possible coolant leak?

Anyone had the profile, or know what the cause is? Looked up coolant leak/issues before making this thread, but nothing came up, related to this.
First picture is of the problem, send is to show where its located, back of motor, from driver side.

Best case scenario: it's dripping off of the heater hose in the top of the second pic. Run your hand under the hose and see if there is any white powder from dried coolant.
Worst case scenario: you have a crack in the head under all that residue. I would clean the area with water or brake cleaner and look for bubbles, listen for hissing noises, and look for fresh coolant.
Most likely it's coming from the coolant crossover pipe shown in the pic below:

If not your source. The LS430s are known for the radiator leaking from the top seams.

That leak is about as far from the radiator as you can get.

You are absolutely correct.. Most likely it is coming from the hose. Many of the high mileage over 100K LS430s do need radiator replacements sooner or later. Good luck with your repair. Let us know how you do.

Does this mean the radiator needs replacement?

Most likely it's coming from the coolant crossover pipe shown in the pic below:
Very likely the crossover pipe shown here is the issue but you may get lucky and it be just the heater hose
