In all my years of searching for LS430s, I don’t ever remember seeing one like this...

Totally different overhead console, and also has Lexus link in place of the sunglasses holder.

Not sure why the current owner decided to install an aftermarket radio and terrible leather glove box thing.

I believe the different overhead console was supplied when the car was optioned without a moonroof.

Very weird to see a US car without a sunroof. The overhead piece looks like the JDM ETC-style...

 

I've seen the lexus link on some LS430s where the sunglass holder is but never seen one with no sunroof. I kind of like it.

My 01 UL has lexus link on the sunglass holder, they came that way from the factory. Back when Lexus discontinued the analog lexus link service they would replace the lexus link buttons with just a sunglass holder, no lexus link, and bypass the system in the trunk.

 

Well that's just neat, kinda tempting to see if you can add in the memo recorder just for the heck of it
