My trim on the front and rear bumpers are not chrome looking anymore. They actually look pretty sad like the gold emblems which I just replaced.
My question is are the front and rear chrome strips the same except for length? Two different part numbers and crazy money from Lexus.

carid, com also has them around $30 front $33 rear and $36 front and $60 rear ... and carid also has oe front shows part number 5275150030 $143.12 and rear Bumper Trim, shows Rear 5275150030 $143.12 shows same part number as front so think it is a mistake as 5275150030 is front trim part number partsgeek.com shows for front Part Number: 18625-04216093 at $24 for rear Part Number: 18625-04216195 $26 for aftermarket trim part
Why have to mess with fitment when exact size part is available?

I would stick with OEM all the other cheap crap from the auto parts store looks horrible and is not the exact same size. OEM should be around $100-120 each trim considering how much these cars cost its not too bad for some nice trim

Agree. Aftermarket parts can often be wonky. For the bumper trim, the original Lexus part may not be so great anyway as the chrome doesn't hold up and fades. Have seen Action's trim on a car (non LS) which looked good and the guy said it fit very well. So why not consider buying the front and back for $50 total and be able to put the $250 savings to some other use. (Your LS430 does look great btw....)
When I refinished both my bumpers at an authorized Infiniti dealer body shop many years ago, I also replaced the trim which I purchased from Rock Auto. It really makes the bumpers pop after looking at the old faded trim. I believe it was between $40-$50 each. I was told the bumper cover needs to be removed to replace the trim properly.
I have found that my bumper chrome strips can be refurbished by just polishing with rubbing compound. I still have the original strips and they look like new after using rubbing compound. Try it, as it's easy and nothing much lost if it doesn't work for you. I do pamper my car and it is always garaged.
Do you think this would work for the trim also I heard it works well on headlights, what brand did you use?
Meguiar's and Mothers both make good products. For what it is worth may wish to also consider, 3M™ Chrome and Metal Polish (Part Number 39527, 3M ID 60455067250, UPC 00051131395275)....

Wow... Thank you! I'm embarrassed to say I never really tried to polish them. Last night I was looking at buying new trim pieces and came across this thread. I immediately went out to the garage, grabbed a bottle of Mother's chrome polish and in about 15 minutes, they look almost new again. Even the trim around the back windshield polished up nicely.
