I am looking for some interior trim panels, more specifically the B-Pillar interior trim panel (Drive side) , in an ecru color (Color code LA08) for my 05 Lexus LS430.
Been searching on ebay for a while but cant seem to find any with the color code LA08. I would like to know if my interior is beige or ecru? Did the beige cashmere come with perforated leather?
Does anyone know if the interior trim color LA07 is the same as LA08? I rang the dealership and they were no help whatsoever.
I have beige (LA07 code), with perforated leather, in my '05 (ML, crystal white). I looked at your build thread and your interior looks very similar to mine, but it might be slightly lighter in color than mine.

If you sign up with drivers.lexus.com (free) and enter your VIN you can go to "MANAGE GARAGE' (drop down link found when hovering cursor at your registered name or clicking on your name found near upper right hand corner when signed in) then on the new page click on "MANAGE THIS VEHICLE" (link found under the vehicle) then on the new page click on "VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS" which will show you several things about your Lexus including the interior color it came with from the factory. (btw, If you click on "SERVICE BY LEXUS" link near the top of the page you will find several links in including "SERVICE HISTORY" which will give you a service record of the vehicle.
(Below is an outside vendor's Lexus interior color chart.)

I just signed up and it confirms that my interior paint code is LA08. I am just unsure if that is considered Tan, cashmere, ecru or ivory? So I take it an LA07 interior panel will NOT be the same color as my LA08 interior color? They look very close from online pictures, but I just cant tell.

Thanks for that! So are you telling me that LA07 and LA08 are different colors or not?
I ordered a Beige B pillar from japan and got this:
You can clearly they are different shades of color, so maybe I have ivory/ecru?
Yes, LA07 and LA08 are 2 different color codes so each is a separate different color. Read that the color code WLA07 is a tan color (tan is often described as a yellowish-brown color) and color code LA08 is a beige color (beige is often described as a pale sandy yellowish-brown color) .

Make sure you match the year to the paint, leather, woodtrim, & option packages to determine exactly what kind of leather it is.
e.g. Black leather could be Standard or Aniline, even if it's perforated; but Aniline was only an option on the Ultra Luxury or Custom Luxury packages (& was a required option).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------- e.g. Ecru was available as a Standard Leather as well as a Luxury Nappa Leather from 2001-2003. The easy way to tell them apart is the wood trim. Nappa Ecru in a 2001-2003 will have an Ecru colored Maple woodtrim.
In 2004-2006 Ecru was only available as a Luxury Nappa Leather, & has the natural Maple Woodtrim.
So a 2003 and 2004 that both have Ecru interior and both have the natural Maple Woodtrim will have different Leathers. 2003 will have standard & 2004 will have Nappa.

Reason: added 2005 colors and quote
Hi All,
Great thread. Most detailed I have seen on the topic. I have an 04 with LA07, which I already knew was Cashmere, but my curiosity is this: Sometimes when I am fantasizing about picking up another one, I run it through the owner's site since I am registered. I looked up a 2006 and it said on the site "Cashmere", yet mine says "LA07". I don't NEED to know this, but I love insider knowledge. Does anyone know why they coded it one year and just spelled it out another?
Thanks.
Confused about interior colors... 2005 Ultra Luxury with what I believe from this forum to be ecru. It is LA08 from the door panel.. I am trying to repair passenger seat with a new leather insert (the perforated part).. It has a rip and the seam where it meets the side bolster has started to fray, showing the cushion. Upholstery shop found a Lexus leather match (the samples book said it was for Lexus specifically), but it is labelled "ivory" and did not show perforations (although they can be added). The same book also showed beige as a separate color which seemed more like cashmere. I thought ivory seemed to a bit too grey/dark, but the swatch did seem to match my (somewhat dirty) seats when held against it. Yet people here refer to ivory as if that is NOT ecru but as thought it ws the non-ultra-lux color (cashmere).
My question is first: is there an official ivory vs beige vs cashmere? I have read that LA08 is indeed Ecru, LA07 is tan, or cashmere, (also ivory)? From the actual 2005 LS430 l brochure, there is only cashmere (non-UL) and ecru (UL only). But to make things worse, replacement parts refer to ivory; part 71071-50440-A0 is ivory, while 71071-50440-A1 seat cushion is ecru (and discontinued too perhaps because UL is rarer so they have already stopped making it.). So I am thinking cashmere=ivory (since ecru is separate) based on that, but the leather "ivory" sample (vs "beige") seemed to match ecru. The naming gets scrambled in sales brochure vs replacement seats vs replacement leather swatches...
If I spend serious money on replacing the perforated seat base leather, I want to be as sure s possible that it is a match within the bounds of aging/sun exposure, etc.. The upholstery book was specifically labelled Lexus colors, but the names are confusing and it doesn't have codes...
Finally, I did look at lseat.com (I learned about lseat.com on clublexus). as a possible alternative: two completely new seat covers for less than the price of just the insert (but I'd have to pay for installation of course), and they both ecru white and ivory,, but these are not official Lexus colors. Wondering if anyone has tried either of these with the ecru interior I have ordered samples. I would not expect these to be a 100% match colorwise, but wonder if I should consider since they are matched pair, if they do not seem to different from the rest of the car's interior (including the back seats which will not change). Hate to give up my original front seat upholstery just for a tear in passenger side, but maybe I need to as most economical, decent alternative.

I have a 2004 LS430 UL. It is metallic silver and the interior color code on the door label is LA08, which is ecru. I am supposing that the 2005 is the same. My upholstery is not beige. I had the driver seat completely reupholstered by an auto upholster a couple of years ago. I have tried to keep the car in pristine condition, and the driver seat was a bit worn. The urholsterer chose a color and perforated patterned and did the complete seat and back. You can't tell the difference from it to the other seats. Of course it did not come cheap, $1000. But worth it to keep the car in the condition that I demand. In Jan 2021 I had my 150,000 mile service done. I was not happy with the wear on the interior left upper b panel. It is upholstered in alcantara (synthetic leather that looks like suede) to match the interior ceiling, which is a part of the UL model. The interior panel, which covers the driver seat belt connection. The seat belt had worn the material and it looked a bit shaky. The dealer invoice listed it as "Left side B-Pillar, Interior upper cover P/N 62412-50071-A0, Garnksh CTR Pill". The cost was $154.90 with a 15% discount. My Lexus dealer instatted it for no charge. If your car has the alcantara fabric on you B-piller, this might help you in your determination of color and P/N..

Thanks for that. I am waiting for my quote on just the insert, but the non-leather I was told was around $650 and am expecting leather to be more... And that is just for the perforated part of the seat bottom, not the rest or the seat back. I only see 5-6 upholsterers around here (Long Island NY) and most seem to specialize in complete interior redos... Matching 1 seat, not so most will take it on, but I will inquire more. Even the place I went to did not have a color match until he decided to check the Lexus leather book after I told him that the vinyls he showed me were no good: not a color match. I think I need a place that can CREATE a color match perhaps rather than find one. I do see that the Ecru lexus seat parts are discontinued... anyway, we will see.. $1000 for a complete new seat isn't all that bad vs $650+ for just the insert...
