Howdy, I'm PK and this is the new to me 2006 LS430 custom luxury

i bought it with 82k on the clock. i put a new seat cushion in the divers seat, put oem replica non chrome rims with new tires and a roof rack on it. this past weekend i changed the radiator, hoses and thermostat. i'll have to do the shocks at some point down the road too. they are the originals and have lost some the of stability they once had. (plus one is leaking)

Edit: trying to get a photo to upload but having trouble.

Very sharp car, and welcome! This April I picked up a very close sibling to yours, a 2005 Custom Luxury riding on OEM chromies. This week I'm having my mechanic install new rear struts on it since the old ones were going bad. Looking forward to the improved ride quality! I spent 9 months actively searching for a well-maintained 05-06 Custom Luxury, and I'm so glad I patiently waited for this one. LS430s in general are just so hard to come by in my region (mid-south), especially in CL configuration. Hope you enjoy your rare ride!

Going with OEM parts. The aftermarket options were definitely tempting for their lower price, but I want to get as close to the original ride quality as I can.

Welcome to the club! Quick question - do you have a link to the OEM replica 18" wheels? I have a slow leak in one of my OEM 17s and I've been looking for the exact design that you have, but they're proving impossible to find on the local classifieds.

Nice "BUMPS AHEAD" sign you have attached to your luggage rack.... (Yes, I know the sign's post is partially hidden by the palms.) Wish you many miles of smooth driving with no bumps ahead...
