Default OEM Strut compatibility

Hi everyone,

Would a set of 01-03 non-sport struts be a perfect fit on my 06 non-sport?

The part numbers are different I believe, but all the aftermarket products seem like a direct fit for all 01-06 LS430s.

Thanks.

Hello,
Are you referring to KYB Struts, if so yes they are completely compatible with 2001-2006.
I've heard the OEM part #'s are different because valving was slightly adjusted.

Thx - actually, I have an opportunity to pickup a set new old stock (front/rear) 01-3 struts for a decent price, but the configurator says it won't fit the my 06 car. I called a Lexus parts dealer and they asked me to check the Mark numbers on my current struts to see what they are, then they can figure out compatibility. A change in valving is the only thing I thought of as well.
