Default Looking for improved back-up camera

Just wondering if there are any solutions for improving the back up camera. The picture quality is ok but could be better. I would really like superimposed lines that guide and project your footprint as you back up. Any way to accomplish the on a '06 ML with navigation? Thanks.

Doing a quick search did not yield any results of someone installing a better camera, but I have to assume that a camera that is 12 years newer would by default, have a better image.

There are loads of cams out there to purchase. Find one that has the integrated guide lines and wire it in... Should be fairly easy.

I installed a back up cam on my 2015 Volt and although it came in a complete kit, the camera had those integrated guide lines, and the option to disable them by cutting a wire.

Cameras can be had for less than 30.00 dollars and I'm sure will improve the image, even if it's by a small margin.

Here's a camera from Amazon with the guide lines.
