Default Parking sensor won't stop

I have a 2003 ls430UL. With my parking sensors turn on sensor will beep until I start moving. When I slow down to almost stopping it beeps. When I am at a complete stop it wont stop beeping. If it is a bad sensor why does it not beep when I am moving. Any help would be nice. Thank you

Yes, bad sensors....mine behaves the same way as I have not replaced yet. It should also show you the bad ones.

When moving, it seems to me the system is no longer checking, so when you reach a certain mph, no error anymore. I could be wrong, but from observation, my system is behaving identically to yours. I just turned it off--because sometimes the system does work, but eventually goes bad again. I bought the two sensors on eBay but have not put them in yet.

Pretty sure that when nothing is around you, and you are stopped, it beeps anyway, and shows you visually. For me, the left front corner is beeping when nothing is even near my car. But, sometimes, it will say something like check sonar...

Sometimes the continuous alert is due to peeling paint or insect carcass; it seems the center section of the sensor requires that whatever is coating it is evenly, and firmly, applied.
I've brought many back by removing peeling paint with a fingernail.

Sometimes, you can't trust the diag screens as to which sensor is bad. My method is to go ahead and take the bumper off, and mix and match new and old sensors until I get a group that works.
I've also found that bad sensors can read the spec'd 10 ohms, and look like new.
Heard nothing but good about the cheaper clones available ebay and Amazon; too bad they are only black and silver.
But I've painted them successfully too; I mask the rubber ring in 2 steps: paint the outer rim, then re-mask and paint the center section. All it takes to make a pretty good mask is tape over the whole face, then either cut around the rubber with a razor knife, or work your fingernail into the gap all the full circle around; I've settled on the fingernail method as quicker and surer!

Good luck.

Oh forgot: the park sensor system shuts down at 10 mph.
And: it can be programmed via Cbest to work for only front in drive, only the rear rear in reverse, or both directions any gear.

What's Cbest? Might be the best option to shut up my bad sensor

CBEST are customizable functions that can be set/changed using TechStream.
