Awesome, glad it's solved. Wondering, is this the time to change out the front park sensors? I still haven't done my corner left.

Believe me, I totally empathize. I dropped the H8 bulb into the headlamp housing on my BMW, and I freaked out. Honestly the first thing that crossed my mind was it might F up the adaptive light and I'm out over $1k. The reason this happened is access and the ability to get one's hand in there--sure, watch the YouTube, it's so easy. But if you did not mark the lamp or mentally note where it was positioned when you unscrewed it, good luck, you can spend 1 hour trying to twist it in, and never be able to (me). What helped me was I screamed to my wife where's all the stuff from the chinese take out (sauces, utensils, chopsticks). I got it out with chopsticks, no joke.

Good job, nice outcome.

I had the same feeling as I was pulling the headlight out and unplugging different connectors (I think there were 7). Do not drop this... do not drop this... Not sure how much new headlight cost, but I bet it is not cheap. I was so happy when I was done. Cold beverage with alcohol never taste that good before!

Glad you were able to retrieve it. Have had this happen a variety of times, one of those "oh sheep!" moments like dropping a fastener into the crevices of the engine compartment too. Have had this dealing with the smaller bulbs like the 194 and 921 types. A wire hanger works with a small ball of moderately sticky tape. As a bicyclist I have a variety of spokes from wheel builds so I use one of those bending as necessary.
