Thanks guys I used plasti dip because I heard it does better at not getting rock chips. For prep I washed all parts 4 times with water and palmolive dish soap, then I went and cleaned off the parts when they were dry with 99% isopropyl alchol.
Tomorrow when I leave my house I will take pics of my car posing so it shows the rims and grill at the same time.

That looks damn good! Gives the car a whole different (dare I say more menacing??) look from the front. Kind of makes me want to do that. I think that might look good with my black car... especially if I end up doing the whole smoked headlights and tail lights thing.
How much labor was involved removing and reinstalling? Is the grill just secured with clips/screws?

Looks good! I really like how it makes the Lexus emblem stand out. I might have to do my grill in the plasti-dip as well but I will leave the outer chrome alone. On silver I think you made the right choice of painting the whole grill especially since you have black wheels. I also like the idea that with plasti-dip it could be peeled off if you wanted to.
