I have been looking for a vendor selling high quality rubber mats for my car since we are often on activities, like hiking and volunteer construction work for a local charity, that result in messy/muddy shoes when returning to the car.
Ordered the rubber mats below for my LS. They look really good installed and are a great fit in my 2006 LS430, including the floor retention hook position on the two front mats, in case anyone is interested. Can't speak to longevity since I just got them but they appear to be well made and durable. Not cheap, but I'd say worth it.
Do they have the hole in the two corners closest to the driver seat so you can use the plastic hook thingy (technical term...) to keep them from sliding forward? They look a little thinner than the OEM carpet mats... do you hear any more road noise from the floor cruising on the highway?

Yes, they do have holes (and included replacement OEM style hook clips) for the floor mat retention on the two front mats. They are thinner than OEM carpet mats. Have not noticed any additional road noise in cabin. Rubber may dampen sound perhaps a little better than carpet at a given thickness, but at least to me no noticeable difference in road sound.
Be aware that most of the road noise comes in from fender well area rather than from under floor mats and is mostly tire related noise. Quiet running wheels and tires (like 17" wheels with Michelin Premier tires) makes a huge difference.
