Smart key operating, good backup?
Guys, quick question.
The traditional square 3 button Lexus key....can that be used as a backup (granted it is cut to the VIN spec)? I researched a few threads regarding the smart key for the LS, but nothing came up for this. Ebay has a few smart blanks for sale, however I see that programming the SOB is a pain, but is doable. Any suggestions? All replies greatly appreciated gentlemen.

I would highly suggest the ebay blanks and program yourself the dealer will be an arm and a leg.
