I came across a **** under the dash on the drivers side. It follows the ignition key towards the firewall close to the end of that bottom cover. It is on the left side of the radio at the end of this bottom dash cover. It has ridges on it, but I am unable to take a picture because of it's position. You can turn it almost a complete turn and it will click. Does anyone have a clue to what this **** does? Thanks all.

 

If I am not mistaken I believe that is the volume control for the beep the car makes with locking, and other beeping noises.

 

 

locking? Ok...What other beeping noises? warnings? seatbelts? etc? Thanks.

 

I believe its for all the warning chimes, maintenance required, the lock unlock and when you have the car on and leave with the key. Thats all I can think of right now.

It's just for the volume of the beep for locking and unlocking the car from the outside. Nothing else.

I think you will find that (push) button next to the (rotatable) lock/unlock beep volume control ****.
