A quick 10 minute job, and my LS finally has it's nav back! I bought the car with a busted DVD drive in the trunk, and decided it was time to take care of that. It's an ancient system, but it feels nice to know all the gadgets in my LS work now! I'll be installing a NAVIKS video interface in the next week or two (depending on how bad this storm that's about to hit NY might be) and a rear view camera.

I used to put my phone in there, which fit perfectly (pixel XL) and used Android auto from my phone. It was a decent replacement but I still wanted to have a full functioning nav system, even if it's essentially useless now

Yah man its crazy I drove from long island to westerlo when I picked up my ls430, drive was not that bad George Washington bridge sucked though lol.
I'm checking to see if you got the Naviks system setup in your car and if so, any feedback on it? I'm thinking about getting one too.

Hey man! The naviks unit has been working flawlessly! The most annoying part about the whole install was taking out the trunk interior. If you have any questions I'll be more than happy to answer them.
