bd3471, I hope you follow up on how well the Boxi's last.
I was gonna buy Boxi's but got scared off by some negative reviews on Amazon.
I ended up with the ones made in Turkey from LiftSupportsDepot.com (ASIN: B00EFDAFZ8, about $26.80) with Lifetime Warranty.
I only hope the car and I last long enough to take advantage of that warranty!

When I removed the old ones I finally had access to that dirty area where the hinge mounts to the lid - what IS that gooey stuff that holds onto the dirt so well?
Even with a toothbrush and WD40, the cleanest I could get it can be shown in the "after" pics I took (below).
Almost makes me wish I had a black car!
