Were you able to get the error codes from the Toyota dealership?
Your LS430 has 2 Oil Control Valves, part numbers: 15330-0F010 for the right and 15340-0F010 for the left. If one has failed, the other will probably fail soon, too!
These are maintenance items and you can order the OEM Genuine Toyota parts on Amazon.com at a good price (15330-0F010 listed for $83.00, 15340-0F010 for $63.93). These parts are just as easy to replace as the #7 igniter you replaced over the weekend - unplug the electrical connector, remove 1 bolt, and pull the OCV straight out from its socket.
So for less than half of what the dealer quoted, you can have both OCVs replaced. You can find cheaper after-market parts (less than $50 for the pair), but if this were my car, I would bite the bullet and get OEM parts.

I just changed the ocv on the wife's Es300. Super simple. Should be similar on our engines. Took about 15 minutes taking my time.

RKw is absolutely right again. Replacing oil control valves on 3uz-fe is a piece of cake. I did mines not too long time ago. Couple of suggestions:1) Buying non-OEM valve may affect engine performance.2) Installing valve without small washer (included with the oem valve) may cause potential problem with incorrect valve operation.3) One of the valves replacement requires removal of some air intake parts. Other valve requires additional attention during removal as some wires are on the way and may break some connections.4) Once you replace them, reset engine ecu and you will notice a significant improvement in medium rpm range acceleration and, potentially, improved shifting as engine will now on enforce proper timing.5) Replace valves by yourselve. You will save tons of money.6) Be extremely careful at unscrewing the bolts that hold valves in the engine. Mine was broken. Also, do not apply force when you install them back to the engine. You can use hi temp thread sealant to protect threads.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to give an update. Just picked up my car from the Toyo dealership. I ended up having them change my OCV since I used up all of my AAA benefits and didn't feel comfortable driving it back to my house because it started to smell like something was burning the last time I drove it to get the codes read. So far, so good. Hopefully, I won't need another repair anytime soon lol.
Also, they gave me a printout of my codes. I had codes P0300, P0302. P0304, P0306, P0308, and P1351.
