What pkg/option is this?
Hello folks, I wanted to ask this question for a long time but I keep postponing it while I focus on maintenance on my car.
I have a 2004 Lexus LS 430, which has all of the emblems made it in a dark ,almost black chrome type of finish. I am positive these are OEM, and not an aftermarket at on by the previous owner.
This includes the grill emblem, the ones in the trunk, and the lexus logos on the wheels. The car originally came with the set of 17 inch chrome wheels, but I changed to a set of 18's in traditional silver finish.
Anyway, I would like to know what is the name of the option you would have selected back when the car was new, in order to get these emblems in other than chrome or gold.
Does anyone know?
Other optional equipment in the car includes radar guided cruise control and navigation. It does not have the ultra luxury package, nor the touring pkg.

There is a color called night chrome and it's a black chrome they dip rims and the like in that is probably what the emblems and such were coated in. Also thsts the beauty of high end aftermarket parts you should not be able to distinguish them from own, also were are you located ifbyour in another country maybe it's an option that was not available in the U.S..
