Removing stuck cds

rwk is correct. This worked for me. Also never use a CD that has any type of applied label on it as the additional thickness contributes to jamming up the CDs transport system

CD player - stuck CD
Had this same problem last year. In the deep freeze here in Toronto I was waiting at the airport to pick up some relatives. I had the heater on full blast and it super heated the car inside. As i was not in the car trying to flag them down as they exited the terminal, a half hour had passed.
upon return to the car the stuck CD had ejected itself. ( I had been playing with eject prior to exiting the car ).
Strange but true!

I've done the credit card thing with home brew CD's. The label being too thick makes it difficult to release (as STU stated) but try to catch the top of the disc while pressing the eject button.
