my cd changer read error 3 does not eject or play only radio work, any ideas?

 

I'm having the same problem. I was in the process of ejecting a CD and it appears that it has malfunctioned and got stuck trying to eject the CD. How can I help the player eject the disc?

 

disconnect your battery. cd will eject when you reconnect I think

 

I'd suggest disconnecting the battery as well-it's worked for me.

 

If believe if you hold the eject button down for an extended period it will try to eject all. also, I had cd's stuck once. I was able to see one of the cds and use tweezers to remove. That fixed the logjam and everything worked fine since.

 

Thanks everyone. I did hold down the Eject button but one disc was jammed. I was able to see the stuck disc and pulled it out with a pair of hemostats. Once I did that, all the discs ejected one after the other. I was then able to successfully reload them one at a time. All seems good now.
