occasionally my cd number 4 (or maybe it was 3) will not fully eject and will get stuck in so i just try to keep hitting the button and sometimes it will come out just far enough to grab with the tips of my nails but other times i have to put another cd just under it and try to jimmy it out... sucks but its only happened like 3 times in 2 years. i actually left my stuck cd in the player for a good 6 months straight when i first bought the car...

Default CD Stuck in LS430

I realize this is part of an older thread but did contain a fix to the problem I was having when a cd recently stuck in the ML CD changer. Repeatedly pressing eject or load, even a little prayer didn't seem to unstick the disc. Maybe it was my LS's way of indicating a certain disc should not be played on such a fine stereo. Regardless it wasn't until I pressed Eject while starting the car that it released my captive discs. I was prepared to do some recommended smacking to the passenger side panel as suggested, but it didn't come to that. Something magic about the combination of pressing and holding Eject while starting the vehicle knocked it out of the perpetual disc grinding that occurred after the vehicle was already started and then selected. I'm just glad they're all out as I was also prepared to take out the head unit this weekend to manually force the discs out. I'm glad it resolved with a simpler method. Thank you for the advice found here.

Any other solutions? My 2002 keeps saying no disk when there are disks inside?
