Default Interior change

Has anyone completely change the whole interior to a different color? I just bought an 06 UL, but it doesn't have the interior color I like. I have found a car, also a UL with full interior. Is there anything I should be aware of, any tips and tricks for taking things out, and what I should NOT do? Also what is a good offer for the interior, depending on the condition? Much appreciated. Thanks

There is a lot of variables on the price man and honestly it's tough to change the interior out you are going to be stripping the entire thing the wood trim is by far the toughest to get out also the dashboard is a nightmare to take out I have heard.

Depends on what you are changing too and if you want to change everything or just seats and doors etc. Dash and console may be more difficult.

Although I assume that this is not what you have, the easiest swap should be between black and saddle as the latter in fact is a variant of black, i.e. black dash, black carpets, black almost anything.

In addition to the dash also the carpets may be a challenge as they are most often mounted before everything else in the cabin and may also be partly glued in place.

What are your two colors?

I want the whole interior. I have the ecru interior I believe, but I want the black interior with the burnt wood edges, but I will be getting the seats redone in either a Bordeaux color, or the current red in the newer interiors.

I have the ecru interior, but I want the black interior with the burnt edges. I am planning on having the seats and the door panels redone in either Bordeaux or the current red in the newer lexus interiors,

Is dying the leather an option?

Man, I'd love to change out my black interior to a saddle interior!

Anyone know where I can get one?

Saddle is a rare color also. I've only seen them in a few cars, but they're never Ultra Luxury models.

Way too much expense and and hassle. I suggest instead you sell the ecru leather car and find and buy a nice black interior car. There were tons of black interior LS430s made and sold. In some parts of the country like where I live in the South, black interior cars are not very popular.

That sounds like a major project. What color exterior do you have? How many miles? I have a silver UL with black leather, gray Alcantera headliner, and rosewood. It is a 2002 with 104,000. All maintenance done by the book. I had air suspension issues and converted the car to spring coil.
