The Shin Etsu is great stuff, but not sure how you would apply it to the hinges. We use a graphite spray on landing gear doors on the MD-88 and 90s which works very well. Not sure off the top of my head who makes it, but it works great. Perhaps there is an equivalent at the parts store?
and yes, it's crazy cold this morning... So glad I'm not working today!
This is what you want it works awsome and does not contain super harsher chemicals its lubrication properties are from lanolin which comes from sheep it works very well in the cold and heat. I would spray on everything that moves i swear by it and my friend who owns his own shop told me it's better than anything else and he swears by it also.
Everytime you change your oil I would spray your cars hinges with this also do not forget the gas tank flap lol

Ya wife's coming down to MKE today with LS, doors been getting bit slow to close overall. Its got 177k on it bout time I lubed em, a testament to the beefy hinges its designed with.
Right. They are good either on cold or hot temperature. There is even food grade one which can be used commercial food processing machinery. Paste or aerosol spray.
I picked up the Fluid Film have been happy with it. I even sprayed it on my battery terminals as it leaves a nice coating. I had a squeeky gas filler door which had cratched thru the pain on my old Camry and it made it slippery enough to eliminate the friction. Its a nice big can prolly last a long time. Thanks again
