Not saying that I’m old or mature. I still lower my car on wheels. Just not that interested in speed. I have my brothers isf for that.

Most LS owner love how the car drives from factory. I think what they’re trying to say is......you’re making this forum turn into Honda-tech.
I have no problem with the fact that I race and modify my car, if everyone was the same life would be very, very boring, isn't it better that I have turned something that was not meant to be anything except a town car into a pretty agile fast street car the exact opposite of what it was designed for.

If people on this forum were not so judgmental and negative they would see some awsome builds I have had a large number of people with heavily modified ls's pm me because there so afraid to post on this forum and be cut down and be ridiculed.

This thread is a waste of space and has very little to do with LS430's. Social media at it's worst?

We have no problem with it. The cops do and you are risking other peoples lives when you race

If its " better " for you then that's great ! But what you have done is not something that really interests everyone here.... I am sure you get that.

If you feel that way then I would say you already know you are in the wrong place to show off your heavily modified LS which you like to race and and hear stories about others doing the same.. We are not judgemental or negative at all, we simply don't care to do the same thing to our car. If your friends have the same car as you and they are heavily modified ( which may even be true ) please show us pictures of their cars .... that would be more interesting to us than hearing you boast about your fast car (and not even showing any pictures of your work). If your friends are too afraid to post here because we are so "judgmental and negative" then the interested members here will PM you, as you suggested.

Its a free site, and you are free to do whatever you like, and post whatever you choose. Some of us - over 350 now - have read some or all of what you posted. Lets see the pictures when you can. I am interested to see what you and your friends have done !

There not my friends they are people who are club Lexus forum members that just pm'ed me ouy of the blue to tell me this forum is not very "modfiying" friendly. Here is my build thread it's stagnant cause I am in upstate NY and it's winter time the ls does not get driven in winter.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/build-threads/873884-sterling-ls430-build.html

Also my actual friends have stuff that would not Interest club Lexus members turbo diesel trucks, a 02 Nissan sentra spec v turbod that makes 325 at the wheels on, a 03 Ford focus turbo, 2006 350z that will be getting aps twin turbo kit installed soon, 1932 Ford coupe, 1959 Ford galaxie convertible, 69 camaro rs, thats just off the top of my head there is a lot more it that's all I can think of honestly, were I come from it's very heavy into car culture and the like.

Also about the cops having a problem with it thing cops in NY state have a problem if you have tinted windows lol

Well said Stu... I enjoy performance cars, have owned a 300ZX, S2000 and a few 60's muscle cars. One of my favorite YT channels are the guys from Australia, "Mighty Car Mods". Nothing wrong with modding your car. However, I think that if the OP spent any mount of time on the forum, he would find that this is by far one of the most helpful, least judgmental forums on the internet.

To make a statement such as you did;

It seems rather judgmental in itself, don't you think?

As I started with, Stu said it best.

This site covers many areas of owner enthusiasm be that maintaining, modifying and racing to some extent. The limited nature bolt on engine enhancements parts reduces the discussions because there are more challenges to making these luxo barges go fast. We welcome the discussion because there are owners that may be interested in those topics. If you have modified your LS 430 to be more performance oriented please post up.

However, boasting about illegal activity which puts non-participants at risk of serious injury or death goes beyond the intent of freedom of expression on this site and model-specific forum.

Racing on tracks? Fine. On the street? Not hardly...

I look at the LS430 as a cruiser yes it has a 4.3L V8 one chased me down in the GS on highway and I pulled away I found it hilarious he tried but maybe he figured 4.3 vs 4.0 he should take me. I have intake/catback exhaust nothing else. I don't even consider my GS 400 fast by any means. I've thought about getting a LS430 suspension and wheels just as a nice cruiser to replace the GS, if I want speed I have my Supra with 8XX rwhp at right foot for that.

To each their own I guess but to me the LS430 is a gentleman's car luxury and refinement you want speed get IS-F or 1st/2nd Gen GS with Aristo swap.

I am actually going to get a 95 sc300 do a lq9 swap with a 85mm t6 turbo and a rpm built t56 transmission. I am hoping with that set up and the proper tune fuel system etc. I should make close to 1000hp at the crank that's what you can push the stock lq9 to I have been reading.
