Upon driving back from San Antonio to SPI we drove through a few downpours. The ones where the wipers run at top speed. Then in just a few seconds, the rain stops and the glass is dry. During the last slow speed sweep of the drivers wiper blade I noticed the the blade turned to a LATERAL position on the glass.
Once home I inspected the wiper arms and on the drivers side there is a secondary stabilization? arm. At the cowling, I noticed a hole where no doubt, a bolt/screw belonged to stop the blade from going sideways on nearly dry glass. Found one in my collection and problem solved.
You might want to check yours for tightness since the rainy season is upon most of us.
All the best,
Doug k
