It was a relatively easy job, I had the end of one bolt header side snap off. It came loose but got progressively tighter as it came undone. Eventually the end of the bolt snapped off and I will buy another nut and screw it on the bolt that's left.
I checked the cats and inside one it looks like someone tried to massage it to get it to breath?
The other cat looks OK. I still have all the lights on traction, engine and VSC. Also when I went to accelerate past 3000 rpm it chocked.
So I need to check two things. MAF and reset all the codes P0100. also reset the VSC. It could be the Y pipe cat is plugged? If it is I would just cut it out and have a straight pipe welded in.
It was a reasonable job for a home mechanic but I have cuts on my hands and a nut to secure and I haven't solved my problem yet.
