Air Suspension Problem - Rear End Stuck Super High
Hey, I want to thank you all, I haven't had to take my 2001 Lexus LS 430 UL to a mechanic in years. But I have a problem I have not been able to fix.
Was driving home after a downpour, and a few minutes in, I got the headlight leveling warning. Then the Height Hi warning, even though my button was on normal. Did some research and found out about the headlight leveling sensor. Took a look, and sure enough the drivers side bracket that holds the sensor was cracked in half. Took it off, welded it, put everything back together. Headlight leveling light was still on, but car drove fine for a day or so. Then all the sudden, the rear end lifted WAY up, and the ride became unbearably bumpy, like a carnival ride tossing you around. The height sensor did seize on the drivers side.
Before spending $525 on a new one at the dealership, I took both the drivers side and passenger side sensors from my dad's 2005 LS 430 UL and installed. Headlight warning and height hi still on. Tried adjusting the position of the sensors, still nothing. Tried pulling the fuses for the headlight leveling, and for the air suspension. Left the battery disconnected for 10 minutes to re-set everything. Still no luck, I am totally stuck, can't drive the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I'm really sorry about that, the whole time, I was actually referring to the height control sensor. This is the part that was broken, welded, seized, then I swapped out of the 2005 UL, both rears.
