Window rain shields
I have used these on other cars and they work fine on cold, rainy, days when you want air but no water and its too cool for AC.Or you want to ventilate on hot summer days when the car is parked in the sun.
But I really like the silent running of the LS-430 and dont want to cause more wind noise when the windows are closed. Of course there will be more when they are cracled open. But I dont want more noise when the windows are closed.
Has anyone installed these and can comment on the noise factor?

And you leave the engine running with the AC on while your car is parked in the parking lot in the summer for 8 hours while you are at work?

I'm retired and I don't have to, and never do, leave it in the parking lot for 8 hours. However, this car can idle with the A/C on for as long as required and the temp needle never changes.

My suggestion is that you buy a set and put them on. If you don't like them, return them. Weathertech, among others, offers them and has a 30 day return policy. Then, let us know how they work.

I just installed a set of AVS slimline shields on my GS460. Ultra slim, perfect fitment that looks extremely close to OEM and they dont make any extra noise. Got them off EBay.
