Default She's gone

Traded the LS in yesterday on a 2015 Tacoma. Had it for 7 years and it was 12 years old. Still in excellent condition with 102k miles. Served us well and was really a garage queen. She'll be missed. Really no need to remain on the forum. Take care one and all. I've enjoyed the visit.

Dealer's "first" trade allowance was $8,500. No go. Agreed on $9,500.

It's really says something about this board and the people who are registered on it, when people have the courtesy and decency to announce the sale of their LS and their departure from the forum!

This is (usually) a class act of a destination on the web!

Good luck to you, former LS owner! (we should create bumper stickers that say, "My previous vehicle was an LS430") LOL

Trading it in is definitely easier but you probably could have gotten $11 - $12.5 selling it on your own and depending on how clean it was. Knowing a dealer they will probably ask $13+ for it and come down.

That's a major shift from a luxury sedan to a truck. I would like to say you will be back but you'll probably have that truck for a really long time. My brother just recently bought a 2017 F150 and man it is sweet! I could definitely drive that one but price it just way out there for me.

Good luck and have fun with the new truck!
