I have a 2005 Ls430 with 175,000 miles it. The CEL, VSC, and Traction control light are all on. The car has been acting up for over a month. I can only get it to 3rd gear and then the rpms will go up without shifting into the next gear (4000rpm to red line). i cleared to the cel two weeks ago by disconnecting the battery. These are the codes that popped back up yesterday. P0761 showed up twice stating shift solenoid "C" performance or stuck off, P0751 stating shift solenoid "A" performance or stuck off. And P0781 stating 1-2 shift. i have searched google and multiple forums but im having trouble finding part numbers for the solenoids "C" and "A". I think thats where ill start out first. Can anyone help me with a diagram or the part numbers? Any info on these codes will also be helpful. Thanks in advance.

 

There are existing threads regarding the trans solenoids. They are expensive. Seems that owners who have issues with the trans solenoids typically have never changed the trans fluid.
