Same here. If I could change the subject a bit...how does your LS perform in the Wisconsin snow? I garaged mine as it performed terribly. Just purchased in September and the tires are practically new so I did not want to invest in new yet. Yes it is RWD but with such a heavy vehicle I thought my snow performance would be better.

Ok, first of all, welcome to the club, and what snow? I'm looking out the front window and all I see is brown grass!
Seriously, though, I had snow tires installed on both the LS's back in December, and about a week later, we got hit with that first storm. The car was fantastic in the deep snow. Tires really helped.
Since then, however, they have been of no use, since we haven't had ANY snow here.

I was kind of hoping for more snow this winter since I went out and picked up a new set of Blizzaks and a used set of rims to mount them on back in November. It seems like straight line traction is pretty decent with the snows on but you do need to be a little light with the throttle when accelerating through a tight turn. Then again, I've also had the back start to slide out from me with the summer tires on when its wet out. Just getting used to driving a rear wheel drive vehicle again after 35 years I guess...
My 2001 is pretty good in the rain. I have Yokohama's on it, but the 2005 (originally a Texas car) came up here with brand new summer Dunlap tires installed. Not even all season tires. Just summer. So, when the first snow fell, the car was difficult to drive at best.
