I've been on this forum for a few years now and I've been switching from car to car, but I finally got back into my favorite, a 2006 Lexus LS430. Black on black navigation, ML sound, non Ultra. Decent miles for the year. I've already put a custom exhaust on it. Absolutely love this car. Still rides better than some of the newer cars on the road now. Lots of plans. But for now maybe suspension and wheels.

Definitely is. Have another car that I use on a daily but she will be the new baby of the family haha

 

Interested to hear about your exhaust. If you can let us see some pics of the car and exhaust set up. Sound clips are always nice.

congrats on the new LS. I have a black on black as well. Worst part is keeping it clean lol.

Did you keep the factory tips? Looks like a nice set-up. How is the sound?

Local exhaust shop do the work? Universal Magnaflow X pipe welded to fit? Cost?

 

I went with different tips, look like factory just a bit bigger. Definitely noticeable in the cabin but a lot lighter than the factory system and yes, the x-pipe is universal from Magnaflow. It cost me around $480 for my exhaust.

 

Awesome! I still think this is the best quality vehicle Lexus ever built. Never got into the LS460's.... Drove and sat in many of them, just don't like the feel of the car or build quality.

Now a 98+ LS400 or an LS430 I'd take any day.

 

That is a clean LS. Any chance you an add an audio clip of the exhaust note?
