Default Introduction: Moved on to a Lexus

Hows it going guys, I've been lurker here since 2004 but finally justified creating an account. I've always wanted a LS430 and now I finally got one. Got married a year ago, and had a baby boy. Because I can't fit a carseat in a RSX, I finally had the opportunity to get a LS430.

It has been one year since I bought the car as a CPO from Lexus Carlsbad. 2004 UL black, Saddle interior and 89k miles on the clock. While black was not my first choice (i actually hate black, i was looking for white or flint mica) I couldn't pass up the deal considering what i was getting, how clean the car was and the price despite it being a CPO from a dealership, I have since gown to love and hate black. Either way i don't regret my purchase I'll start a build thread if you want to see the progression of the car.

Here is my previous build:
Full exterior, slight interior, and an NA built K20a2 which puts down 265whp
BTW sold the TE's, and mirrors and used that as down payment on the LS

A video my homie made when he was first starting his cinematography gig.

Heres the new beast:

Love your LS interior
I have a 2006 Ultra, black on black. You' might see it round town, license plate VILAGE 4.
Damn things almost at 340,000 miles, gonna let it go soon.
Replacing with a Tesla S.

Can't help but feel ****ty, when I see a set of Volks/Rays. Some *******, stole mine from my yard.

Thats a very nice UL you have. I'm so jealous of the burnt wood and saddle seats. And yeah i wouldve have passed that deal up neither.

Very very jealous you have the combo I wanted the most lol. Love the black with saddle interior. I know what you mean about the love/hate relationship keeping black looking good lol.

Can't wait to see what you have planned. That rsx was very well done.

I had heard that CPO was only available on 6-year-old or newer cars. It sounds like that was not correct.
Was yours actually a CPO (that is, from Lexus corporate)? or just a 3rd party warranty?

Thanks guys. Yeah the saddle sets the car off and color can easily be over looked just because. Black looks sexy when clean, when dirty it's nasty and you see all imperfections.

The CPO was directly from a Lexus dealership no 3rd party dealer.
