p1350 engine code SOLID ON
02 LS430
Code comes back on every time and never fails then VSC comes on after.
Clear codes, start up, engine light ON
P1350
so far I've checked timing marks (it's not off)
tested and changed OCV just for hell of it even though it worked fine
engine does hesitate if I activate the VVT solenoid
I am using a scanner to activate and control these functions so I don't believe its a wiring issue
timing belt has been changed
I'm stumped, could it be a faulty ECU?
Am I the only 1 here with this?
Anyone seen this before?
p1350 is first to show then p1351 follows
All on bank 2 (2,4,6,8) passenger side
on/off misfire but I believe that's due to p1350 code.

P1350 is right bank VVT sensor, same procedure as P1345 (left bank VVT sensor).
1) Check resistance between the 2 terminals, should be 835-1400 Ohms at -10C to 50C (14F to 122F), or 1060-1645 Ohms at 50-100C (122-212F).
1a) Inspect waveform using an oscilloscope at 50msec/div and 1V/div, waveform frequency is shortened as the engine speed becomes higher
2) Check for open and short in harness and connector between engine ECU and VVT sensor
3) Inspect sensor installation - ensure proper tightness
4) Check/replace engine ECU
P1351 is bank 2 VVT sensor/camshaft position sensor problem, usually means timing belt is jumping teeth or the timing belt is stretched. Adjust valve timing or replace timing belt, and if that fails, check/replace engine ECU.
